Mission & Goals
To promote and implement the One Health approach in accordance with both national and international legal frameworks, aiming to strengthen the resilience and sustainability of health systems by coordinating and carrying out strategic activities structured around five interrelated pillars of the One Health framework: (i) Comparative medicine, integrating human and veterinary health; (ii) Food safety, ensuring the integrity and security of the food chain; (iii) Environmental health and protection, addressing the impact of ecological factors on human and animal well-being; (iv) Integrated management of these domains within the broader framework of the bioeconomy, in support of sustainable and health-promoting policies;(v) Education and lifelong learning, fostering interdisciplinary competence development for healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers by identifying priorities on training, skills enhancement, and capacity building.
