Mission & Goals
The goals of our organization include: • Designing and delivering utility-scale and commercial renewable energy systems that reduce reliance on fossil fuels and improve energy security. • Developing hybrid solar + storage solutions to stabilize electricity grids and optimize self-consumption and peak shaving. • Facilitating foreign direct investment (FDI) and cross-border partnerships in clean energy in the Western Balkans. • Supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and municipalities to decarbonize their energy supply through tailored solutions. • Expanding regional expertise through integrated project development, technical implementation, and long-term operations & maintenance services. As a mission-driven energy solutions provider, Obilux also plays a coordination role in multi-stakeholder investment platforms.
EU Legislative Interests
Main EU legislative proposals or policies targeted: Our company primarily targets EU legislative proposals and policy frameworks under the European Green Deal, specifically the Renewable Energy Directive (RED II and RED III), Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), RePowerEU Plan, and the Fit for 55 Package. We follow developments in energy market liberalization, cross-border energy trading, and decarbonisation of the power sector, as well as policies that support the integration of energy storage systems, EV infrastructure, and solar PV technologies. Furthermore, we monitor EU initiatives in the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF) and Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA III), aiming to align our projects with EU priorities in clean energy transition and regional energy security.
Communication Activities
Obilux L.L.C actively participates in regional and international renewable energy events such as Intersolar Europe, Balkan Green Energy Summit, and other EU-funded forums. We organize and support public campaigns and stakeholder workshops in Southeast Europe to raise awareness about the EU Green Deal, energy efficiency, and solar adoption. We regularly publish bilingual brochures, technical whitepapers, and online educational content targeting companies transitioning to the liberalized energy market. In partnership with local chambers of commerce and industry associations, we promote knowledge transfer on EU energy and climate legislation, and we support digital platforms offering tools for clean energy project development and policy alignment.
