Mission & Goals
O&J stands for Omoda and Jaecoo, two automobile brands of Chery International. All of Chery International's activities in Europea are carried out by its subsidiary O&J Automotive Netherlands B.V. We contribute technical and market expertise to EU decision-makers on topics such as sustainable powertrains, battery value chains, circular-economy solutions for end-of-life vehicles, connected-car and data-governance standards, fair trade rules and skills development. Our remit covers R&D, manufacturing, import, sales and after-sales operations in the Single Market, as well as the regulatory impacts of product compliance, consumer protection, environmental performance and international trade. By fostering innovation, investment and quality employment, we seek to help advance a competitive, green and resilient European automotive ecosystem.
EU Legislative Interests
Predominantly but not solely policies and measures with an impact on the automotive sector in the areas of energy, CO2, transportation, emissions, alternative fuels, trade, and industry.
