Mission & Goals

NYALA Digital Asset AG is a BaFin-licensed administrator of distributed ledger-based securities registers (Kryptowertpapierregisterführer) under Germany's Electronic Securities Act (eWpG). We provide regulated infrastructure for the issuance and administration of tokenised financial instruments - shares, bonds and fund units - on behalf of issuers and capital markets participants. As such DLT securities registrar, we operate under full prudential supervision equivalent to that of investment firms: capital requirements (KWG), organisational requirements including DORA, and AML/CFT obligations. We engage with EU institutions on the development of the regulatory framework for tokenised securities markets, in particular the Market Integration and Supervision Package (MISP), the DLT Pilot Regime, and the ECB's Appia and Pontes initiatives.
