Mission & Goals
NRK Verpakkingen (formerly VMK, Vereniging Kunststofverpakkingen Nederland) is the association for the Dutch plastic packaging industry and trade. Its members include producers and importers of plastic packaging and raw materials for plastic packaging Main objectives: To improve the image of plastic packaging To promote and stimulate the sustainable use of plastic packaging To foster sensible and sustainable legislation on plastic packaging To support the collection and recycling of plastic packaging waste To encourage the execution of packaging legislation

Communication Activities
partner in "Rethink Plastics", a programme with factual information about plastics, to counter the many misconceptions where plastics are concerned. This programme has a website, www.rethinkplastics.nl, and organises once a year a conference in the Netherlands: Future Proof Plastics. Further in the Netherlands seminars and webinars are organised on the legislative proposals which are relevant for our sector.
