Strategic Objectives of Nostrum Group in the EU Transparency Register Nostrum Group seeks to actively engage with European institutions to contribute constructively to the development of a competitive, sustainable, and resilient European digital and energy ecosystem. Registration in the EU Transparency Register provides a formal and transparent channel to interact with Members of the European Parliament, Commission Directorates-General, and other relevant bodies, ensuring that the company’s insights, experience, and initiatives can inform policymaking in key sectors.

Nostrum Group is not currently involved in any group or event in EU. Our intention is to be able to do so as soon as possible. The rapid technological evolution, the transition to green energy, and the increasing demand for digital services create a context in which active participation in European Union (EU) policy-making is essential to ensure competitiveness, sustainability, and scalability of operations. The European Parliament, alongside the European Commission and other EU institutions, defines and regulates policies directly impacting Nostrum Group’s activities, including data center regulation, renewable energy integration, artificial intelligence (AI), and distributed digital infrastructure. Registration in the EU Transparency Register provides a formal channel of interaction, allowing Nostrum Group to participate in public consultations, attend hearings, and ensure that its projects and proposals develop within a favorable regulatory framework aligned with Europe’s sustainability and digitalization objectives. This essay outlines Nostrum Group’s strategic interests in the European Parliament, justifying its engagement and detailing the key areas where the company can add value, influence regulation, and contribute to a competitive, resilient, and sustainable European digital and energy infrastructure. Communication Activities

Nostrum Group is not currently involved in any group or event in EU. Our intention is to be able to do so as soon as possible. Communication activities related to EU policies Nostrum Group carries out communication activities in Spain to inform, raise awareness, and actively engage in topics related to critical infrastructure, data centers, artificial intelligence, digitalization, and renewable energy, in the context of the aforementioned EU policies. These activities include: Participation in events and conferences in Spain: Attendance and presentations at sectoral events on AI, sustainable data centers, and energy efficiency organized in Spain by relevant associations and entities. Workshops and roundtables with national stakeholders to exchange best practices and contribute to projects aligned with EU regulatory frameworks. Awareness and outreach campaigns in Spain: Promotion of best practices on sustainability and energy efficiency in data centers through newsletters, online publications, and national sector media. Publications and informational materials in Spain: Press releases and informational notes on Nostrum Group’s position regarding relevant EU legislative proposals, focusing on their application in Spain. Participation in public consultations and hearings in Spain: Responses to national consultations related to AI, data, energy, and digitalization regulations. Presentations and meetings with Spanish authorities and committees to provide technical and operational expertise supporting policy development aligned with Nostrum Group’s interests. These activities aim to promote transparency, regulatory compliance, and sustainability in Spain, while preparing the groundwork for potential future engagement at the European level, with the company’s strategic focus currently centered on the Spanish market.
