Mission & Goals

. The Norwegian International Society for Justice and Peace is a non-governmental organization based in Oslo, Norway, dedicated to promoting human rights, peacebuilding, and social integration. The organisation works to foster dialogue and contribute to policy discussions at both European and international levels, particularly in areas related to migration, democracy, equality, and social inclusion. Our activities include organising conferences, supporting civil society initiatives, promoting intercultural dialogue, and engaging with stakeholders and European institutions to support fair and inclusive policies. We are committed to upholding European Union values, including respect for human dignity, equality, democracy, and the rule of law. The organisation contributes to EU-related policy development and public consultations where relevant.

EU Legislative Interests

Our organisation focuses on contributing to EU policy discussions in the following areas: - Human rights and fundamental rights within the EU framework - Migration and integration policies in the European Union - Anti-discrimination and social inclusion strategies - Digital policy developments affecting civil society, including the Digital Services Act (DSA) Our activities aim to support dialogue, awareness, and cooperation with EU institutions and stakeholders in these areas.

Communication Activities

Our organisation organises conferences, seminars, and public events related to human rights, social inclusion, and integration. We also conduct awareness campaigns and publish materials aimed at promoting dialogue and cooperation within European society, including topics linked to EU policies such as migration, anti-discrimination, and digital rights

Member Of

The organisation is not a formal member of any specific international federation. However, it maintains active cooperation and partnerships with several international and regional civil society organisations. These include collaboration with: - Arab Women Pioneers Network (AWPN) - OFUQ ALSALAM ALDUWALI (OSD) Center – United Arab Emirates - International Human Rights Organization for Justice, Peace and International Law – Norway - Norwegian Hands Association – Lillehammer, Norway These relationships are based on cooperation, joint initiatives, exchange of expertise, and official letters of support. The organisation actively contributes to international dialogue, peacebuilding efforts, and humanitarian cooperation with these entities.

Organisation Members

the organisation is supported by approximately 10 volunteers who contribute on a part-time basis to its activities. These volunteers are not formal members but are actively engaged in implementing projects, organizing events, and supporting the organisation’s mission in the fields of human rights, peacebuilding, and social inclusion. Currently, the organisation does not have formal affiliated entities or subsidiary bodies.
