Mission & Goals

The overall mission and objective of Nordic PSM is to safeguard and promote the interests of the Nordic public service media organisations in relation to European affairs and regulations. To strengthen the position of public service media in the Nordic countries and Europe. Nordic PSM closely follows the work and activities in the different institutions of the European Union and The Council of Europe dealing with the audiovisual sector.

The seven Public Service Media organisations in the five Nordic countries DR, NRK, RUV, SVT, SR, UR and Yle are all members of the European Broadcasting Union, EBU. EIF: European Internet Forum
