Mission & Goals
NICOLE is the European platform on contaminated and sustainable land management. It integrates technical, economic, legal, and environmental skills and expertise from industry, service providers and academia in tackling industrially polluted land. NICOLE aims to work closely with other organisations, networks and public bodies to discuss state-of-the-art technical and management solutions, legal frameworks and regulations and is a strong promotor of innovation and nature-based solutions.

Communication Activities
NICOLE organises twice a year a 2 day workshop on selected topics of interest to its membership. Such topics will focus on a particular theme, such as new legislation, emerging contaminants, specific treatment technologies, liability regimes, etc...
