Mission & Goals
MINEX LLC is a food production company based in Kosovo, with over five decades of tradition in supplying high-quality food products to domestic and regional markets. Our core mission is to strengthen food security, reduce reliance on imports, and support sustainable economic development by investing in modern, efficient, and health-conscious food manufacturing. MINEX LLC aims to align with European standards in food safety, environmental sustainability, and industrial modernization, while contributing to rural job creation and regional economic integration. Through continuous investment in modern technologies and capacity-building, our remit includes reducing food waste, lowering production-related emissions, and promoting circular economy principles in the agri-food sector.
EU Legislative Interests
MINEX LLC targets EU policies and legislative frameworks that support sustainable food systems, industrial modernization, and regional economic integration. Specifically, we follow and align our operations with the following key EU legislative proposals and policy areas: Farm to Fork Strategy under the European Green Deal – to ensure sustainable food production, reduce environmental impact, and promote healthier food options. EU Circular Economy Action Plan – particularly measures related to reducing food waste, increasing energy efficiency in manufacturing, and promoting sustainable packaging. Single Market Programme – for strengthening competitiveness and access to the EU market for high-quality, compliant food products. EU Industrial Strategy – to modernize our production through digital transformation, innovation, and increased resilience in the food supply chain. EU Western Balkans Strategy and Economic and Investment Plan – supporting regional integration, cross-border trade, and access to EU funding instruments to foster growth and competitiveness.
