Mission & Goals

Since launching in 2021, newcleo has rapidly established itself as a leading innovator in nuclear energy, designing Generation IV Advanced Modular Reactors cooled by liquid lead and fueled by reprocessed nuclear waste. Through innovative combination of proven technologies and revival of Mixed Oxide fuel manufacturing and multi-recycling, newcleo aims to close the nuclear fuel cycle while producing clean, affordable, practically inexhaustible energy for low-carbon economies. With EUR 70 million turnover in 2024, EUR 570 million in private funding, and over 100 industry partnerships, the company's growth is supported through strategic acquisitions of firms with strong nuclear engineering, manufacturing, and waste management capabilities. Through 900 highly qualified employees across France, the UK, Italy, Switzerland, and Slovakia, newcleo is developing skills and services for its ambitious timelines while supporting SMR supply chain development throughout Europe and beyond.
