Mission & Goals
New Social Initiative (NSI) was established in 2015 in North Mitrovica to contribute to a more inclusive and democratic society in Kosovo by empowering non-majority communities to actively participate in social, political, and institutional life. Vision: An inclusive and democratic society in Kosovo, built on trust, equal rights, and meaningful participation of all communities in social, political, and institutional life. Mission: New Social Initiative empowers non-majority communities, particularly Kosovo Serbs, to actively participate in Kosovo’s social and institutional life, strengthens interethnic relations, and contributes to democratic governance and the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia through dialogue, advocacy, and evidence-based engagement.
