Mission & Goals
The organisation aims to promote Ukraine’s democratic transformation by advancing reforms and supporting Euro-Atlantic integration. It strengthens the development and resilience of Ukrainian civil society both in Ukraine and abroad. The organisation fosters cooperation with international partners and the Ukrainian diaspora to build a democratic Ukraine based on the rule of law and European standards. It plays a key role in encouraging European-oriented reforms through the joint efforts of civil society, expert communities, and the diaspora. In addition, the organisation supports the professional development of young Ukrainians, empowering them to contribute to the country’s transformation.
EU Legislative Interests
1. European Commission’s Enlargement Package, including annual reports assessing Ukraine’s progress on rule of law, good governance, anti-corruption measures, public administration reform, and fundamental rights. 2. EU-Ukraine Association Agreement and Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) implementation. 3. Communication from the European Commission on the Ukraine Facility, establishing reform conditionality, reconstruction priorities and civil society involvement in monitoring. 4. EU Rule of Law and anti-corruption initiatives, including proposals and communications on judiciary independence, public administration modernisation, access to justice, transparency of public institutions. 5. European Parliament resolutions on Ukraine, including those on European integration, democratic reforms, civil society resilience, youth participation, reconstruction and anti-corruption frameworks. 6. Council of the European Union Decisions on EU macro-financial assistance to Ukraine, particularly related to democratic governance, financial transparency and adherence to EU values. 7. EU Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) initiatives relevant to Ukraine, including security assistance, cooperation and reform of the security and defence sector. 8. EU initiatives supporting civil society, democracy and youth.
