Mission & Goals
New Europe Organization is a new vision for free information. New Europe Organization believes that free access to information and technologies is one of the most important values for democracy. We imagine a future of information without prejudice, discrimination, misinformation, media manipulation and bigotry. To that end we create projects that spread reliable open and relevant information.
EU Legislative Interests
Digital Services Act (DSA) & Digital Markets Act (DMA) - media pluralism, platform accountability, digital access. European Democracy Action Plan - media literacy, disinformation, civil society empowerment. EU Action Plan against Disinformation - countering Russian propaganda via multilingual, fact-checked content. EU Human Rights & Democracy Framework - freedom of expression, press freedom, journalist protection. Creative Europe Programme - cross-border media, cultural diversity, multilingual storytelling.
Communication Activities
Approximately 80% of our activities aim to influence or support the implementation of EU policies related to media pluralism, disinformation countermeasures, digital platform transparency, and support for independent journalism in conflict-affected and censored regions (notably Russia, Belarus, and Eastern Partnership countries). The remaining 20% cover general public awareness, educational initiatives, and platform development not directly linked to specific EU legislative processes.
