Mission & Goals
The Dutch Banking Association (Nederlandse Vereniging van Banken - NVB) was founded in 1989. The NVB is the representative voice of the Dutch banking community with around 65 members, large and small, domestic and international banks. At the European level the Association is a member of the European Banking Federation and has a Brussels office to represent the Dutch banking sector in the European policy formation and legislative processes. The NVB works towards a service-oriented, sustainable and internationally competitive banking industry. More information: https://www.nvb.nl/english/
EU Legislative Interests
The main EU dossiers for the NVB are prudential regulation and supervision, the savings and investment union, retail financial services, sustainability, digitalisation and security.
