Mission & Goals
Nazra aims to achieve gender equality through contributing to the continuity and development of the regional feminist movement in the Middle East and North Africa and provide them with all means of support. The Main Key areas: 1- Protection: Development of Physical Security, Digital Security and Mental Health Protocols in the different regions targeting the activists, WHRD, Peaceuilders, Legal Personnel, Journalists and others. 2- Knowledge Production: Development of Policies and Research based on the Narratives of Women, feminist theories and community practices addressing the needs and challenges and providing recommendations on several areas. 3- Advocacy: The protection outcomes and knowledge production will feed the advocacy efforts to ensure that the voices of local women are amplified at local, regional and international level and support the effective engagement of women’s leadership in the region’s political and peace process and other issues.
