Nayara Energy serves 8% of India's refinery capacity and serves as a critical strategic asset to India's energy security.

EU Legislative Interests

In relation to overall Council Regulation (EU) 269/2014 of 17 March 2014 concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. To implement Regulation 269/2014, EU Council passed Decision (CFSP) 2025/1478 of 18 July 2025 (amending Decision 2014/145/CFSP and Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1476 of 18 July 2025) EU Council included Nayara in the Annex to Decision 2014/145 and in Annex I to Regulation 269/2014, under serial number 639. Nayara is seeking a complete delisting from all the aforesaid regulations.
