Mission & Goals
NAV Portugal E.P.E is a public entity designated by the Portuguese State to provide the public air navigation service to support civil aviation, ensuring the management, operation and development of air navigation systems, including air traffic management services and related activities and required by them in compliance with the standards of international conventions or international civil aviation organizations of which Portugal is a signatory or member state.
EU Legislative Interests
NAV Portugal monitors all regulatory developments related to the aviation sector, particularly those affecting its activities as an ANSP (Air Navigation Service Provider). Among these topics, we highlight the legislative packages related to the Single European Sky, as well as the various regulations published by the European Commission and EASA (European Agency for Safety in Aviation).
