Mission & Goals

NATIVA is the Regenerative Design Company that for over ten years has supported the evolution of some of the most important Italian and European companies, accelerating their transition towards models that center sustainability, regeneration, and the creation of shared value. NATIVA is the first Italian B Corp and Benefit Company. Through a scientific and human approach, we accompany organizations and their stakeholders on systemic journeys, from strategy to the evolution of processes and business models, from skill development to the transformation of physical spaces, and finally to the communication of their new positioning. As NATIVA, we act guided by the principle of interdependence with other organizations whose purpose is aligned and synergic with our. This allows us to scale our joint positive impact.

Communication Activities

NATIVA conducts advocacy activities, analyses EU sustainability policies, and organizes educational workshops for companies on European regulatory frameworks. Specific activities include: - CO2alizione advocacy campaign: Leading a coalition of 90+ Italian companies that have integrated a climate neutrality goal in their bylaws, in advocacy efforts on EU climate policies, particularly developing position statements on Climate Transition Plans at risk within CSRD and CSDDD - Awareness & advocacy on the Benefit Corporation Model: We are involved in the development and promotion of the Benefit Corporation model in Italy (Società Benefit), and across the EU aiming to promote a company legal status which would allow to embed social and environmental impact goals in their bylaws - Educational workshops and training: We support companies in the transition towards EU sustainability standards including EU Directives as the CSRD, CSDDD and ESPR… To this end, we deliver workshops & promote knowledge building among companies on sustainability standards to over 100 companies in 2024

Co-founders of B Lab Europe and founders of B Lab Italia. Since 2013, NATIVA has worked with B Lab Global to spread the B Corp model in Europe and Italy, giving rise to a movement that today includes thousands of companies using business as a force for good. Co-promoters of the Benefit Corporation law in Italy, participating in the Executive Board of Assobenefit (the association of Benefit Corporations in Italy). Publication of the 2024 and 2025 Research on the performance of Italian Benefit Corporations. Strong partnership with CEM (Communauté des entreprises à Mission) and other European actors to spread the Benefit Corporation model at the European level. Members of the Business for Better Tomorrow coalition network of Impact France. Co-organizers of the For Good Leader Summit, an event that gathers 1,500 leaders from around the world who have decided to go beyond profit, collaborate, and begin to chart the path for a regenerative future through concrete actions. Designed and launched CO2alition together with 60 other Italian companies and Fondazione per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile as our partner in the initiative. CO2alition is the group of companies formally committed to integrating the goal of climate neutrality into their corporate bylaws. In 2024, CO2alition launched its first international chapter and expands into the Netherlands. Co-founders of the Regenerative Society Foundation, to promote the dissemination of regenerative business models based on solid scientific knowledge. With the RSF, we participate in COPs, including those on Biodiversity. Participants in the Italian chapter of the UN Global Compact as an active member of the community of more than 160 companies.
