Communication Activities

The Council also utilizes platforms like the EU Youth Dialogue to ensure that the voices and concerns of Macedonian youth are effectively communicated to EU institutions and integrated into the policy cycle NYCM additionally advocates for adoption of the Youth Dialogue mechanism in North Macedonia. NYCM actively applies for funding from EU programs such as Erasmus+, IPA, and CERV, using these resources to implement advocacy campaigns, youth consultations, and capacity-building activities tied to EU youth policy priorities. NYCM organizes public debates, roundtables, and policy dialogues featuring national decision-makers, EU representatives, youth leaders, and experts, creating space for youth to actively engage in discussions on EU legislative proposals and priorities. NYCM develops and disseminates policy briefs and position papers on key EU policies, with a focus on how they relate to the Macedonian youth context. These documents serve as tools for advocacy and awareness, helping shape national youth policy in alignment with European standards. NYCM regularly publishes findings from consultations, youth forums, and surveys that reflect the views and experiences of young people in North Macedonia regarding EU policies and reforms, ensuring their perspectives are heard in both national and European debates. NYCM also hosts workshops, webinars, and training sessions for youth organizations on how to participate in EU policy-making, apply EU tools such as the Youth Dialogue, and navigate funding opportunities. NYCM maintains strong cooperation with the European Youth Forum and other regional youth networks, amplifying its advocacy at the European level and bringing Macedonian youth voices into broader conversations. By organizing and participating in international youth events NYCM builds strategic alliances, shares best practices, and fosters a more coordinated approach to EU-level youth advocacy across the region.
