Mission & Goals
The National Retail Federation (“NRF”) is the world’s largest retail trade association, representing discount and department stores, home goods and specialty stores, Main Street merchants, grocers, wholesalers, chain restaurants, and internet retailers from the United States and more than 45 countries. NRF empowers the industry that powers the economy. Retail is the nation’s largest private-sector employer, contributing $3.9 trillion to annual GDP and supporting one in four U.S. jobs — 52 million working Americans. For over a century, NRF has been a voice for every retailer and every retail job, educating and communicating the powerful impact retail has on local communities and global economies.

Additional Information
While the NRF has three people engaged in activities falling under the register, two spend significantly less than one percent of their working time on such activities and one spends under 10 percent. The FTE should therefore be less than 0.3. However, 10 percent is the minimum that can be chosen for each person involved from the organisation expressed in percentage of working time.
