Mission & Goals
NPC Ukrenergo is a national transmission system operator that performs operational and technological management of the Integrated Power System of Ukraine and transmits electricity via trunk power grids from generation to distribution networks. The company’s mission is to create conditions for the sustainable development of the energy sector and the economy of Ukraine by ensuring the functioning of a competitive, transparent and liberal electricity market, unified with the EU countries, as well as equal opportunities for unhindered and continuous access of all market participants to the transmission system.

Additional Information
Ukrenergo did not receive grant funds from the EU for operating expenses. However, the company received funds for the EU in 2024 for the implementation of investment projects. In particular, 115 million euros (100 MEUR from UIF and 15 MEUR from NIP).
