National Learning and Work Institute (L&W) is an independent policy, research and development organisation dedicated to lifelong learning, full employment and inclusion. EU Legislative Interests
Our day-to-day engagement on EU policies on adult education, skills and employment is primarily through our strategic partnerships and membership of the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) and the European Basic Skills Network (EBSN).
Communication Activities
From time to time, L&W participates in events, campaigns and contributes to publications produced by our strategic partners in the EU. Currently, a very small proportion of our working time is spent on such activities.

L&W is a member of the European Association for the Education of Adults. L&W is a member of the European Basic Skills Network, and is currently represented on the executive committee. L&W is an associate member of EUCEN, the European association for lifelong learning in universities.
