Mission & Goals
INCDSB's mission is to achieve excellence in life sciences research, through the interdisciplinary integration of research activity in four essential directions, which define the central axis of INCDSB's CDI activity: (1) agriculture, food, nutrition and food safety, (2) environment and biodiversity, (3) biomedicine and health, (4) circular bioeconomy using the trans-disciplinary valences provided by the supporting areas: bioanalysis, bioinformatics, applied biotechnologies and research in extreme environments. INCDSB's vision is to contribute, through cooperation with local and international partners, to understanding life processes and providing sustainable solutions to the challenges of environment, health, natural resource depletion, food etc.

Communication Activities
Participation in European research brokerage events, scientific conferences, consortium-building meetings, and stakeholder exchanges related to Horizon Europe priorities, bioeconomy, biodiversity protection, and environmental sustainability, together with dissemination of research outputs through scientific publications and institutional communication activities.
