Mission & Goals

MyGatekeeper is a nonprofit organization based in Hanover, Germany, dedicated to fostering a future-oriented, inclusive, and sustainable education system. With a strong focus on digital literacy, civic education, and innovative learning formats, we empower educators, students, and institutions. As part of national and transnational projects, we contribute expertise in educational technology, participatory learning methods, and policy development. Our work aligns with EU priorities such as digital transformation, social inclusion, and lifelong learning, ensuring broad societal impact. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, we develop scalable educational models, create open-access resources, and support knowledge transfer across borders, strengthening educational innovation within the European context.

EU Legislative Interests

We are working on and interested in the following projects and instruments of the European Executive Agencies: Programme "EU4Health", Programme „Digitale Europe Programme“, „Connecting Europe Facility“ (e.g. infrastructure), "Horizon Europe": Pillar II, Cluster 2: Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society, Cluster 4: Digitalization; "Creative Europe", "Erasmus+", "Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme", "Innovation Fund". We're also interested in the field of professional orientation (European Skills Agenda und NextGenerationEU) and we are supporting the Pact for Skills, because we are convinced, that it is important that young people internalize the concept of lifelong learning (Reskilling und Upskilling).
