Mission & Goals
MT-KOMEX is committed to driving the energy transition through innovation, sustainability, and technological excellence. The company focuses on renewable energy solutions such as solar power plants and storage systems, increasing energy efficiency with smart technologies, and advancing electromobility and digital energy management. It supports sustainable local development through partnerships and capacity building, aligning with EU climate goals by reducing emissions and promoting circular economy. MT-KOMEX is an EPC company operating not only in Serbia but across the region, with a strong track record in delivering complex energy projects. It actively collaborates with public institutions including the national electricity distribution operator, ministries, and local governments to ensure effective implementation and alignment with national and EU strategies.

Communication Activities
MT-KOMEX does not participate in formal consultation processes with EU institutions but closely monitors the development and implementation of EU legislation related to renewable energy, energy efficiency, circular economy, and carbon adjustment mechanisms. Communication activities have included participation in regional and national events focused on the practical implementation of EU climate and energy policy. The company regularly contributes to sectoral discussions through workshops, expert roundtables, and knowledge-sharing initiatives in cooperation with public institutions and development agencies. These platforms often serve to exchange views on how national and local actions align with key EU frameworks, such as the Renewable Energy Directive, Energy Efficiency Directive, and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). In addition, MT-KOMEX supports the dissemination of EU-aligned project results through targeted publications, expert articles, and professional communication materials. These efforts aim to raise awareness, inform policy alignment at the national level, and promote practical application of EU strategic priorities across the Western Balkans.

MT-KOMEX is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (PKS) (https://pks.rs) and actively collaborates with regional development agencies and local authorities on energy and infrastructure initiatives. The company is also a member of the Belgian-Serbian business association (BSBA), Confindustria Serbia, Hellenic Business Association of Serbia, Croatian business club (HPK), RES Serbia – the national association for renewable energy, and the Serbian Association of Managers (SAM). Through these memberships, MT-KOMEX contributes to knowledge exchange, policy advocacy, and business development within the sectors of energy, sustainability, and tourism, both at national and international levels.

MT-KOMEX d.o.o. is part of a group of affiliated companies operating in the fields of sustainable development, renewable energy, electromobility, and green infrastructure. These entities jointly contribute to the planning, development, and implementation of innovative and climate-resilient solutions aligned with EU policies and funding priorities. Affiliated entities include: • MT-KOMEX BH d.o.o. is a newly established sister company of MT-KOMEX, created to expand the group’s operations into Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company operates in the same key areas as its Serbian counterpart, including renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, electromobility, and energy systems integration. MT-KOMEX BH aims to replicate and adapt proven models of climate-resilient development, contributing to the green transition in the Western Balkans in alignment with EU environmental and energy policies. www.mt-komex.ba • CEEFOR d.o.o. – consultancy specialized in sustainable energy, environmental performance, and project engineering, offering services in energy efficiency, carbon analysis and permitting. www.ceefor.co.rs • Solaris Energy d.o.o. – a pioneer in Serbia’s renewable energy market and developer of the first ground-mounted solar power plant in the country, commissioned in 2013. • Delasol d.o.o. – a front-runner in renewable energy investment, developer of a 10 MW solar plant backed by Serbia’s first signed corporate PPA. The company is currently constructing an additional 10 MW and is developing an 80 MWh battery energy storage system, expected to be operational in 2027. • CHARGEGO d.o.o. – company focused on e-mobility infrastructure and deployment of EV charging networks. www.chargego.rs • B2 Nova Sun - 10 MW solar power plant that was awarded a 15-year power purchase quota through the first renewable energy auctions organized by the Serbian Ministry of Mining and Energy in cooperation with EBRD. • B2 Sun Spot – 7 MW solar power plant that was awarded a 15-year power purchase quota through the first renewable energy auctions organized by the Serbian Ministry of Mining and Energy in cooperation with EBRD. • KOBRA GLOBAL d.o.o. – the project company developing the 10 MW KOBRA Global solar power plant, which was awarded a 15-year guaranteed tariff through the second round of Serbia’s public renewable energy auctions (organized by the Serbian MInistry) and is currently under construction. • Sun Energy and More d.o.o. – newly formed holding company that will gradually acquire ownership shares in the above-listed companies, with the goal of integrating strategic direction and investment capacity in alignment with EU energy and climate objectives. Together, these companies form a vertically structured and operationally coordinated group with active engagement in sustainable energy, regional development, and EU-aligned infrastructure investment.
