Additional Information
As requested, we would like to clarify Mouatana’s current financial and operational situation. The association has not received any external income since 2023, when it benefited from a modest contribution of 2.500€. Since then, the organisation has been maintained exclusively through voluntary, unpaid work from its President and Vice-President. They continue to dedicate time and personal resources to keeping Mouatana active in the public sphere — notably through participation in conferences, networking activities, and contributions to policy debates — while preparing for a more structured relaunch. Although the association’s mission touches upon several EU policy areas, this overlap reflects the broad thematic relevance of Mouatana’s objectives, rather than an indication of continuous or detailed monitoring of all those fields. The current registration in the EU Transparency Register forms part of a relaunch and redeployment plan aimed at strengthening Mouatana’s engagement with EU institutions and civil society networks. Fundraising efforts are ongoing to establish a small but sustainable budget that will allow the association to resume projects and ensure a more consistent follow-up of selected EU policies. For the financial year 2025, Mouatana’s operational budget therefore consists solely of minor administrative expenses (covered personally by its officers) and voluntary in-kind contributions.
