The Global Gateway Strategy of the European Union – particularly initiatives concerning sustainable transport corridors, digital connectivity, resilient infrastructure, clean energy investment and trade-enabling connectivity between Europe and Asia, including Mongolia. The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism – monitoring and facilitating dialogue on the implications of EU carbon pricing measures for Mongolian exports, supply chains, industrial production and long-term trade competitiveness in environmentally sensitive sectors. European Union Trade Policy and Market Access Frameworks, including policies relating to customs cooperation, trade facilitation, regulatory transparency, standards harmonisation, digital customs procedures, and implementation of the World Trade Organization Trade Facilitation Agreement within EU external trade relations. Additional Information
The Mongolian–European Business Council was established and began preparatory organisational activities in 2024, including stakeholder engagement and institutional development, which is reflected on our website. However, due to administrative and operational circumstances, the organisation was unable to open an official bank account until 21 November 2025. As a result, the Council did not undertake financial operations, receive funds, or carry out activities involving financial transactions prior to that date. For this reason, we considered the organisation to fall under the category of a newly formed entity for the purposes of the Transparency Register declaration, as there were no closed accounts or financial data available for a full financial year.
