Mission & Goals
The aim of MION Technologies is the development and commercialization of analytical instrumentation in main fields with a high focus on security, food, health, and environmental sectors.
EU Legislative Interests
New security and environmental regulations are of high interest for MION Technologies. In the security topic, - The ACC3 (Air cargo or mail carrier operating into the EU from a third country airport – ACC3) regime, established by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 2015/1998 and Decision C(2015) 8005 that stipulates that cargo and mail entering the EU on an aircraft must be controlled according to EU air cargo screening obligations. - New EC/ECAC Common Evaluation Process of security equipment - COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2023/566 of 10 March 2023 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998 as regards certain detailed measures for the implementation of the common basic standards on aviation security
Communication Activities
ECAC/EC air security manufacturer informative sessions that take place yearly and the manufacturers are informed about the latest updated in the different regulations and standards.
