MUFG is a leading global financial group active in all jurisdictions including in the EU. MUFG would like to provide its contribution to the EU debate on regulatory policy and supervision especially from a perspective of a foreign banks.
EU Legislative Interests
Omnibus sustainability package (CSRD and CSDDD), Taxonomy, Transition Finance, Disclosure and all sustainable finance related legislative text, banking regulation especially CRR/CRD and other EU legislation in financial services such as MiFID and Securitisation. Interests also related to the discussion on the Digital Euro, Payments legislation, Framework for Financial Data Access, Fintech Regulation, Artificial Intelligence and AML
