Mission & Goals
The Mitsubishi Materials Group, founded in 1871, has evolved to meet changing social and economic needs. Aware that mass production and consumption cause issues like resource depletion and global warming, the Group commits to “For people, society and the earth, circulating resources for a sustainable future” using its technological strengths, it builds a recycling system for metals, collecting and processing e-scrap, used copper, batteries, and carbide tools to recover valuable materials. Through smelting and refining, it creates high-performance products while its renewable energy business supports carbon neutrality. The Group strives to balance growth and environmental responsibility, contributing to a sustainable society with the support of its partners and communities.
