Mission & Goals
MPP is a non-profit organisation, supporting the decarbonization of seven of the hardest-to-abate sectors in manufacturing and transportation. MPP, in collaboration with industry players, has defined 1.5-aligned decarbonisation roadmaps that establish the actions necessary by 2030 to achieve net zero by 2050. Currently, our work is focused on unlocking deep decarbonisation projects across these sectors. MPP was established to act as a bridge between industry leaders, governments, and NGOs, and continues its work under the umbrella of cross-sector governance with non-profit and industry leaders on the board, in the organization, and as active partners in our work. MPP hosts the secretariat of the ITA, a global multistakeholder initiative working to increase the number of commercial-scale deep decarbonisation projects reaching Final Investment Decision (FID) across industry.
