Mission & Goals
MiQ Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation with the goal of reducing methane emissions from the oil and gas industry using a market-based certification approach.
EU Legislative Interests
EU Regulation on methane emissions reduction in the energy sector (EU/2024/1787).
Communication Activities
Conversations and communications with various DG Energy staff on EUMR and certification. Publications and thought leadership about methane and EU Methane Regulations on MiQ.org, MiQ LinkedIn and at panels at conferences. Presentation on 13 November 2025 to Network of Competent Authorities and Commission on certification, followed by Q&A document.
