EU Legislative Interests

Milsped targets several EU policy areas aligned with its strategic development priorities, especially in the fields of sustainable transport, green logistics, digital transformation, and regional integration. Key legislative proposals and frameworks of interest include: European Green Deal – Milsped supports the EU’s climate-neutrality goals by investing in low-emission transport, multimodal logistics platforms, and infrastructure for electric and alternative-fuel vehicles. Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy (COM/2020/789) – The company actively follows policies promoting smart freight transport, last-mile electrification, cross-border connectivity, and digital logistics ecosystems. TEN-T Regulation (Proposal COM/2021/812 final) – Milsped operates strategically along core transport corridors and is engaged in enhancing regional multimodal connections in line with the revision of the Trans-European Transport Network. Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) – Relevant for Milsped’s development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in logistic hubs and investment in HVO and biogas-based transport solutions. Fit for 55 Package – Especially the parts relating to road transport decarbonisation, carbon pricing, and energy efficiency in logistics operations. Digital Europe Programme / EU Data Strategy – Milsped is committed to adopting smart warehouse solutions, automation, and AI-based systems for transport planning and supply chain optimization. EU Enlargement and Connectivity Agenda for the Western Balkans – Milsped supports the integration of regional logistics infrastructure with EU markets, contributing to sustainable trade corridors and supply chain resilience across the region. Circular Economy Action Plan – Through investments in reusable packaging, route optimization, and reduced waste in transport and warehousing processes. Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) – Milsped monitors relevant funding calls and initiatives aimed at modernizing cross-border transport infrastructure and digital logistics systems. Milsped participates in EU-funded projects and cross-sectoral initiatives supporting the alignment of logistics operations with EU decarbonisation targets and regional development objectives. The company’s interest in these policies stems from its active role in shaping a modern, efficient, and green logistics network in Southeast Europe and beyond.

Communication Activities

Communication activities (events, campaigns, publications, etc.): Milsped has participated in closed-door stakeholder consultations, regional forums, and EU-Western Balkans business events related to sustainable mobility, TEN-T corridors, and logistics digitalization. The company has contributed position papers and strategic input via business associations on topics such as CO₂ reduction in freight transport, electric vehicle infrastructure, and cross-border connectivity. Organisation Members

Milsped doo is the parent company of Milsped Group, an integrated logistics group operating across 15+ countries. While it does not have members in the sense of associations, it manages a network of affiliated legal entities.
