Mission & Goals
La Ley 8/2015, de 21 de mayo, por la que se modifica la Ley 34/1998, de 7 de octubre, del Sector de Hidrocarburos, designa a la sociedad MIBGAS S.A. como Operador del Mercado Organizado de Gas. Por su parte, la Portaria nº 643/2015 de 21 de agosto, del Gabinete do Secretário de Estado da Energia de Portugal, autoriza a MIBGAS S.A. a ejercer la misma función en dicho país, configurándose así el embrión del Mercado Ibérico del Gas. MIBGAS, como operador del Mercado Organizado de Gas, es responsable de su gestión, debiendo desempeñar las funciones necesarias y adecuadas para el apropiado funcionamiento del mismo y la gestión económica de sus servicios, respetando los principios de eficiencia, eficacia, transparencia, objetividad, no discriminación e independencia.
