Mission & Goals

MLU is an efficient, modern university which maintains the highest requirements for teaching and research in social sciences, humanities and natural sciences. At present, around 20,000 students are enrolled to study in 9 faculties and 15 specialized interdisciplinary research centers or specialized thematic facilities. The University invests into renowned scientists, high-tech equipment, and a modern research environment to foster research, research-training, and cooperation with industry, policy makers, and public actors. About 2500 scientists conduct basic and applied research. MLU’s science support facilities include highly qualified administrative staff to support project and IPR management and to foster start-ups and knowledge transfer.
