Mission & Goals
The company's object is: Design and development of floating units, platforms and technological equipment applicable to aquaculture and other specialised technical studies for the captive fishing industry and production processes for marine products. Testing activities and technical analyses of equipment related to aquaculture and products related to human and animal food hygiene, including tests and controls related to food manufacturing and certification activities for such equipment and products to preserve technological and food safety. Fundamental and applied research and experimental development related to the aquaculture and seafood industry. Research and experimental development in marine biotechnology. Wholesale of floating units, platforms, equipment, products and production processes related to aquaculture. Aquaculture in salt and brackish waters, including the culture of marine species in tanks, ponds and floating units and the operation of breeding units.
EU Legislative Interests
promoting food security and reducing import dependency in Europe, starting in Portugal, with innovative large-scale technology for sustainable offshore aquaculture anticipating the development of animal welfare and environmental regulatory frameworks
Communication Activities
currently in the phase of development, communication activities include project presentations at Blue Economy related conferences and exhibitions, tradefairs and Sustainable / Impact Investment entities, plus interviews and OPED;s in selected media channels for the industry and general public.
