Mission & Goals
MECA is an international nonprofit trade association of North American companies that supply clean mobility technologies that reduce the environmental footprint of all mobile vehicles and equipment, including passenger cars and trucks, commercial vehicles and off-road equipment. MECA is a source of scientifically sound technical information to help enable clean mobility by improving energy and fuel efficiency and reducing pollution through the use of electric technologies, advanced combustion and emission controls.

Organisation Members
MECA represents suppliers of technologies that are installed on vehicles and reduce their environmental footprint. The types of companies that are members of MECA include: North American manufacturers of clean mobility technologies including aftertreatment such as catalysts and filters for reducing criteria pollutants; engine efficiency components such as cylinder deactivation, turbo chargers, fuel injection systems for improving combustion and reducing CO2 emissions; OBD sensors and controls; and electric motors, power electronic components and hydrogen fuel cell as well as hydrogen combustion technologies for zero carbon emitting vehicles.
