Mission & Goals
LONELY-EU is an EU-funded Horizon Europe project. The project’s main objectives are: – To understand how loneliness is impacted by socioeconomic factors, and how loneliness in turn affects socioeconomic outcomes – To develop and propose evidence-based policies to prevent and reduce loneliness and social isolation across the EU – To build social and economic resilience and inclusive growth by establishing a Europe-wide stakeholder network and a framework for monitoring loneliness
