Mission & Goals
Linux Foundation Europe’s mission is to accelerate the growth of thriving open collaborative efforts focused on challenges and opportunities of all European constituencies, from individuals to public and private sectors, while providing an on-ramp for European projects and companies to succeed and collaborate on a global scale.
EU Legislative Interests
Regulation of digital products, the ICT sector, of standards development and industrial policy, with a focus on the impact of the legislation on the European and global open source ecosystem. Examples are cyber resilience act, AI act, SEP regulation, product liability directive or eiDAS.
Communication Activities
Open Source Summit Europe, Embedded Open Source Summit, KubeCon+CloudNativeCon Europe, many others.
