Mission & Goals
LINEV Systems UK Ltd is involved in the design, manufacture, sale and support of X-ray based Security Equipment for use at borders, ports, high security building and establishments and airports. The goal is to, as a minimum, meet and, where possible, exceed Customer's expectations for this security screening equipment. In addition LINEV Systems UK Ltd is involved in the design, manufacture, sale and support of recycling equipment that can be used to improve recycling/ materials recovery including, inter-alia, equipment to sort batteries and plastics by their technology type, thereby increasing the purity of the resulting 'black mass' and so reuse/recovery potential.
EU Legislative Interests
Involvement in understanding the European Requirements, both current and planned, for the specification and application of security scanning equipment and reuse/recycling specifications, particularly, but not exclusively, related to batteries and plastics.
Communication Activities
Of specific relevance and the reason for this application is that we were invited to attend a virtual briefing session being given by the Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union for which it needs to be on the EU Transparency Register. To quote from the email received from TAXUD-CCEIT on 28/10/21: Thank you for expressing interest in attending the virtual Information Session to present the Customs Control Equipment Instrument (CCEI) dedicated to the equipment manufacturers and service providers that TAXUD is organizing on the 17th of November 2021 from 10:30 to 12:30 (Brussels time). It would be our pleasure to confirm your participation in the Information Session. For Transparency reasons, in order to attend the session all attendees need to have their companies registered in the EU Transparency Register. In the event that your company is already registered, please, share with us the Transparency register number or the hyperlink to the company’s profile in the Register. Should your company not be included in the Transparency register yet, please register it and share with us the registration details before the 10th of November 2021. Only when we have the confirmation of registration In the EU Transparency register we will confirm your company’s participation in the Information Session and share the connection details together with the steps to follow in the case of being interested in booking one bilateral exchange with TAXUD representatives on November 19.
