Mission & Goals

Lime offers e-scooters and e-bikes for short-term rental in European Member States. In its role as an advocacy organization, it addresses the legal and physical aspects of transportation policy in the EU. To this end, it conducts background discussions, hosts panel talks, and organizes similar exchange formats as member of the European association Micro Mobility for Europe. The objective is to ensure that the business implications of shared micro mobility are sufficiently reflected in legislation and other political decision-making processes. For this purpose, Lime is in continuous dialogue with representatives from politics, research, civil society, and the media.
