Advanced Lab: Expertise in hardware attacks (Side-channel, Fault Injection) and software vulnerability research. LGAI ensures product robustness and global market access through world-class facilities and technical authority.

EU Legislative Interests

LGAI focuses on regulations that mandate security assessments for digital and industrial products: EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA): This is their primary target. They provide readiness assessments and gap analyses to help manufacturers comply with the CRA's essential security requirements before its full enforcement. EU Cybersecurity Act (CSA): They align their services with the framework established by this act, specifically the creation of EU-wide certification schemes. European Cybersecurity Certification Scheme (EUCC): As a lead laboratory, they target this scheme (based on Common Criteria) to provide a "presumption of conformity" for products under the Cyber Resilience Act. Radio Equipment Directive (RED) Delegated Act: They target Article 3.3 (i, e, and f) regarding cybersecurity, privacy, and fraud protection for wireless devices. EU AI Act: They are positioning their services to address the cybersecurity requirements for "High-Risk AI Systems" as defined in the act.

Communication Activities

LGAI is highly active in disseminating technical and regulatory knowledge: Webinars & Expert Sessions: For example, in October 2025 webinar "Navigating the CRA: What We Know & What We Don't Know (Yet)" provided guidance on product classification and reporting obligations. White Papers & Essential Guides: It was published detailed technical guides, such as the "EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) Essential Guide," explaining compliance timelines and technical documentation (SBOM) requirements. Technical Workshops: It was host practical sessions for manufacturers to map their existing security controls (like ETSI EN 303 645) to upcoming EU mandates. Strategic Publications: Frequent release updates on the alignment between the EUCC and the CRA to help the industry understand how voluntary certifications meet mandatory laws.
