Mission & Goals
LEO Space Photonics develops high-performance optical transceiver solutions for satellite communications and other harsh-environment applications. The company specializes in the design of high-speed radiation-hardened electronic ICs, photonic integrated circuits (PICs), and opto-mechanical assemblies for optical transceiver modules. Our business focus is on high-data-rate intra-satellite optical interconnects and free-space optical communication links. In these domains, the company has successfully coordinated and led multiple EU-funded R&D projects, including H2020-SPACE-ORIONAS, H2020-SPACE-SIPHODIAS, EDF-MiniBOT and Horizon Europe SPACELINK, contributing to the development of advanced optical communication technologies for next-generation European satellite systems.
