My business was not active last year due to taking a year secondment. Therefore, I had no costs whatsoever for my business. I have only re-started my business in the last two months. Because I am a sole-proprietor and currently have no contractors or employees, my costs are merely for my own salary, basic supplies, travel, and books. For transparency, I'll note that costs in years prior (2021-2023) were related to hiring consultants for expert consultation, fact checking, and legal review in addition to the costs for my own FTE and travel. In those years, costs ran around 20,000. But I am not contracting for any of these intermediaries this year.
