Mission & Goals
The Latvian Food Retailers Association (LPTA) represents the interests of food retailers in Latvia and works to support the sustainable development of the food retail sector. LPTA advocates for a well-functioning and transparent retail market that puts consumers first, ensuring access to safe and high-quality food under clear and predictable market conditions. LPTA promote a stable and responsible business environment in which retailers act as reliable partners to the state and responsible employers. LPTA provides sector expertise in the development of legislation affecting food retail and works closely with public authorities to support economic growth in Latvia. LPTA brings together retail companies with high standards of business ethics and a strong sense of responsibility towards society and the state.
