Mission & Goals
The purpose of the Association is to ensure the representation of its members’ interests and to promote their sustainable development at national and international level. The Association promotes the development of the bioeconomy by supporting the involvement of producers of biological materials, including detergents, biofuels, biomaterials and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), in the circular economy. The Association achieves its objectives by: Improvement of the regulatory framework – to promote a favourable legal environment for the development of the circular economy, to participate in the drafting of legislation and to represent the interests of the sector in policy-making; Sector development and innovation – to promote the introduction of innovative technologies in resource management, to support digital solutions and scientific research cooperation; Resource efficiency – to develop systems for waste reduction, recycling and reuse, as well as to promote eco-design principles
