Landcare Europe presented recommendations for framework conditions and measures in the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) in the European Parliament in June 2023 to Members of the European Parliament, the European Commission and other representatives of European Institutions and NGOs/NPOs. These recommendations resulted from exchanges on best practices and challenges of Landcare organisations. We disseminated policy recommendation papers on extensively managed grasslands, soils, agroforestry and peatlands as natural carbon sinks in 2024/2025. We invited MEPs to our project workshops/networking meetings.
