Mission & Goals
To promote innovation and research in neonatal medicine with the ultimate goal to improve the health of neonates and the whole society in EU
EU Legislative Interests
We target the lack of specific attention to R&D in neonatal medicine (no specific plan from EMA), the insufficient funding as most of the EU fundings are dedicated to research in adult medicine, the current regulation managing EMA procedures which are way to complicated and impossible to navigate for a small specialty as neonatology, and finally the new medical device (MDR) regulation which is extremely dangerous for our small patients as a lack of neonatal medical devices is being experienced.
