Mission & Goals

KPMG is a global organization of independent professional services firms providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services. KPMG firms operate in 138 countries and territories with more than 276,000 partners and employees working in member firms around the world. Member firms in the KPMG global organization are affiliated with KPMG International Limited, an English private company limited by guarantee. KPMG International acts as the coordinating entity for the overall benefit of KPMG member firms, including through the establishment of common strategies, policies and standards, but does not provide professional services to clients. This registration covers the interest representation activities carried out by KPMG International and, where applicable, interest representation activities carried out by a representatives of one or more KPMG member firms only when acting expressly in the name of, or on behalf of, KPMG International, for the collective benefit of the KPMG organization.

EU Legislative Interests

We follow key EU policy developments across a range of EU policy areas and may provide input on relevant public EU consultations (including via the European Commission's "Have your say" platform) to share perspectives coordinated by KPMG International, drawing on insights from KPMG member firms across different jurisdictions, particularly in the European region. We continue to engage in debate on areas including audit and assurance, corporate reporting and transparency, tax policy and corporate governance (including related regulatory and implementation developments).

Communication Activities

We may occasionally organize or participate in policy events (including roundtables, webinars or conference sessions) concerning EU regulatory and policy developments in the areas noted above. We may also publish information and disseminate insights (e.g. briefings, articles and/or summaries of consultation inputs) through our own channels relating to EU policy and regulatory developments.
